Privacy Policy

Somethink.io is operated by MB RESIDUUM, a Lithuanian private company (reg. 306725962, VAT LT100016939810, registered in Vilnius, Lithuania). We take your privacy seriously and keep data handling on this website minimal by design. This policy explains what happens when you visit somethink.io.
Who we are
The data controller is MB RESIDUUM. You can reach us at hello@somethink.io for any privacy-related question, including exercising your rights under GDPR.
What this website does
somethink.io is an umbrella site. It introduces our studio and links out to our individual products (Stagify, Apstatyk, and others). The site itself does not require an account, does not run analytics, and does not display advertising. Each linked product has its own privacy policy covering its own user data.
What we collect on this site
- Email correspondence. If you email hello@somethink.io, we receive your message, address, and anything else you choose to include. We use it to reply to you.
- Server logs. Our hosting provider (Hostinger) keeps standard access logs (IP address, timestamp, requested URL, user agent). These are used to keep the site running and to detect abuse. We do not use them for profiling.
We do not use tracking cookies, pixels, or analytics tools on this site. If that changes in the future, we will update this policy and, where required, ask for your consent before loading any tracking.
Legal basis
Under GDPR we process your data on the following bases:
- Legitimate interest for keeping the site running and responding to emails you send us.
- Consent for anything that would require it — for example, if we ever add an opt-in newsletter.
- Legal obligation where Lithuanian or EU law requires us to keep certain records (for example, tax-related correspondence).
Third parties
- Hostinger hosts somethink.io and our email. They process server logs and inbound messages on our behalf.
- Stripe processes payments for our products. You will see "Somethink.io" on your card statement. Stripe's own privacy terms apply to transaction data — see stripe.com/privacy.
We do not sell your personal data. We do not share it with anyone beyond the processors listed above, unless a Lithuanian or EU authority compels us by law.
Data retention
We keep email correspondence for as long as it is useful for supporting you, and no longer than required by Lithuanian accounting or tax law (typically 10 years for financially relevant records). Hosting logs rotate within a short operational window defined by Hostinger.
Your rights
Under GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, port, or object to our processing of your personal data. You can exercise any of these rights by emailing hello@somethink.io. We aim to respond within 30 days.
If you are not satisfied with our response, you can file a complaint with the Lithuanian State Data Protection Inspectorate (Valstybinė duomenų apsaugos inspekcija) — vdai.lrv.lt.
Children
This site is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal data, please let us know and we will delete it.
Changes
We may update this policy occasionally. When we do, we will update the "Effective" date at the top. For material changes we will add a short notice on the homepage.
